On this page I have included links to poets that I like, enjoy the work of, and highly recommend that others read.
Cherie Zendarski writes poetry that is relatable to everyone. She writes both freestyle and form poetry with equal skill and clarity. My favorite poem of hers is also the name of her book of poetry, "My Breath Ballet" one of the most original poems you will find in the market place today. She also writes children's books and her first one entitled "What Bird?" is available at www.bouncingballbooks.com
The above link will take you to Cherie's poetry book. You can also see her paintings at her website. www.cheriezendarski.com
Jeff Howe is to me one of the most eclectic poets I have read. He truly is the definition of eclectic, he derives his ideas from a million different sources and adds his own unique twist to the written word. He writes about almost any subject with equal passion, from the romantic to the fantastic. He might have the most perfect fitting title for a book of his work. "From here to Never, time travels from Maine" absolutely suggests that you will go on an amazing journey, and indeed you will! You should also checkout his website www.thejeffhowe.com
The above link will take you to Jeff's book.
Renata Emther is one of the most amazing poets I have had the privilege to read. Her descriptive poetry will leave you both enchanted and envious. Her first book of poetry "Rimbaud's Echo" will be the first in what I am sure will be many poetry bestsellers. Lines like: "I could dive into the blue slate of your eyes and feed on the deep veins of your intellect" will captivate almost any reader, and cause a pang of jealousy from almost every poet! This is a can't miss book, on a scale of 1-10, I'd give it 11! You can order her book direct from Bulldog Publishing co., Inc. 106 Hillside Rd, Farmingville, NY 11738 or on Amazon.com. Type in her name or the name of the book in the link below and get ready to read some great poetry!

When it comes to poetry however, very few poets write with the emotion that Julene Buchta delivers. If you are ready for poetry that stirs the soul, be it with sadness, happiness, love or laughter, then "Window Shopping for my soul" is exactly the book you are looking for! A guaranteed winner. You can learn more at www.freewebs.com/julene or you can purchase her book at www.barnesandnoble.com or www.amazon.com
Patricia Ann farnsworth-Simpson (AKA Pat Simpson) is well known to many of us on www.poets.com she has been an inspiration and great friend. I highly recommend you check out her book "There's something in the parlour" available from Publish America. I have included the excerpt from the back of her book to give you an idea of the type of poetry Pat writes. You will not be disappointed with this work. I am waiting on my copy now.
This is a collection of poems based mainly on Pat’s life experiences told in rhyme to portray all the imagery of her outlook on life.
All her emotions are clearly apparent throughout the book with poems that cover life as she saw it through a child’s eyes in the 1940’s. portraying life in a mining village through to her thoughts about life as she sees it today.
Her love of laughter, life and nature is also very apparent through out the book, Some of the poems are sad reflecting the traumas that she has had to face in her early childhood years and teens, but most are about the true life funny experiences she had.
From childhood Pat attended both church and chapel, and her love of God she portrays clearly in her poems in the hope to inspire others!
The link below will take you directly to her book.
"Whispers shout more than screams" and I think everyone who has ever spent a moment in silence waiting for the axe to fall from a lover leaving, or have lived through that pregneant pause after having said "I love you" waiting to hear those same words echo from the lips of our lover can definitely relate to that. "Whispers shout more than screams" are the words of Tammy Lynn Whisman from her poem "Waiting for the echo". I found her poetry quite by chance, visiting a friends website, I clicked on to a link and discovered a virtual treasure of verse. I ordered her book after reading just a few of her works and every day I look for the UPS driver to deliver me her book "Fireflies, moonlight, and all that Jazz". I feel like a child waiting for christmas morning to arrive. I recommend that you check out her site www.freewebs.com/tlwhisman you will be glad to have found her poetry, as I am. I will be adding a link to her book, but for now you can find it at www.barnesandnoble.com or www.amazon.com
DOORWAY TO A SOUL & IN THE QUIET STILLNESS.
