Intimate Maine Town Hall Elopement

This intimate Maine elopement combined elegant architecture, emotional moments, and beautiful portraits inside a historic town hall featuring an incredible granite and marble staircase that made the perfect backdrop for wedding photography.

From the moment we started photographing this couple, the atmosphere felt relaxed, authentic, and focused entirely on the two of them. One of the things I love most about elopements and courthouse weddings is how personal they feel. Without the pressure of a large venue or timeline, couples are able to truly enjoy the experience and focus on what matters most — each other.

The historic staircase inside town hall created some of the most dramatic and elegant portraits of the day. The curved marble steps, architectural railings, and soft natural light added a timeless feel to every image. Their classic black-and-white wedding attire paired perfectly with the clean lines and historic character of the building.
