Over $300 Raised at Our Photo Booth — Wishes in the Valley 2026

This past weekend, Evidence of You Photography had the opportunity to bring our photo booth to Wishes in the Valley at Lost Valley in Auburn, Maine, and what an experience it was!

Our goal going into the event was simple: bring something fun to the community, give families a memory they could take home with them, and use our booth to help raise money for an incredible cause.

We're excited to share that our photo booth raised over $300 in donations!

Over $300 — Even With the Rain!

Unfortunately, Maine weather had other plans for us.

We ended up getting rained out about 45 minutes before we were scheduled to pack up, cutting our time at the event short.

While we were disappointed that we couldn't keep the booth going for that final stretch, we're incredibly thankful for what everyone helped us accomplish.

More than $300 was donated through our booth alone.

And knowing how the day was going before the rain came in, we truly feel we could have raised even more.

Rather than looking at that as a disappointment, we're looking at it as proof of what's possible.

A Photo Can Do More

One of the things we've been working toward with our photo booth is finding ways to make it more than just entertainment.

We want to use it to support local nonprofits, fundraisers, businesses, and community events throughout Maine.

At Wishes in the Valley, people could stop by, have their photo taken, have some fun, walk away with a printed memory, and at the same time help support the cause.

Seeing more than $300 come through our booth showed us just how much potential there is when photography and community come together.

Every donation added up. Every person who stepped into the booth helped. And every photo became a small part of something much bigger.

We want to give another huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped at the Evidence of You Photography booth, took a photo, made a donation, shared a laugh with us, or told someone else to come check us out.

We also want to thank everyone behind Wishes in the Valley, the volunteers, sponsors, vendors, and Lost Valley for bringing the community together for such an important cause.

We may have been rained out a little early, but we're walking away from this event feeling even more excited about what our booth can do at future community events.

Next Stop: Lewiston Balloon Festival 2026!

And you won't have to wait long to see the Evidence of You Photography booth again!

We're excited to announce that we'll be at the Lewiston Balloon Festival 2026, August 21–23!

We'll have the photo booth set up throughout the festival, giving families, friends, couples, and festival-goers another chance to step in front of the camera and take home a printed memory from the weekend.

We're really excited to bring the booth to one of the area's biggest community events and meet even more people from Lewiston, Auburn, and across Maine.
